Roland Aira Modular, System 500 and FX announched

As predicted Roland has announced a new Aira system; Aira modular. Alongside new FX modules have been introduced; Bitrazer, Demora, Scooper and Torcido. Also new is the System 500, a fully analogue synthesizer.

New Pioneer reference monitors: RM05 and RM07

Brand new Pioneer near-field reference monitors announced for studio usage. 

The Pioneer RM05 has a 5" woofer with HSDOM tweeter, the RM07 features a 6,5" woofer. The frequency range of the tweeter goes up to 50kHz!!!' The speakers also feature an AFAST TUBE and are front-loaded.

This new pic for the System 1 AIRA modular was released earlier today! Also I got a confirmation from an insider at Roland the System Modular is coming.

New Roland System 2 Modular/ System 1 modular/ System 100 modular

Roland will soon announce a new Roland System 2 or System 100 modular. The name is still uncertain. Several pictures have been leaked in which we can see a modular system with Roland System-1 digital synthesizer-style looks.

The device seems to have a eurorack format which makes it perfect for rack placement.

Traktor 2+2 Control Mixer Kontrol Z2

The name of the new scratch mixer will be: Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2.

Z2 as in 'Zcratch' (scratch), like Kontrol (control).

It's gonna be scratch-certified, as I already told ya.
Loop controls (with leds showing loop length), filters and 4 hot cue's per deck (a/c + b/d) on board. Plus various Traktor FX controls.

Native Instruments is releasing a new Traktor controller tomorrow. According to updated info it's going to be a Traktor battle mixer with MIDI controls on board. The mixer is to be used analogue aswell as digital.
The package includes full Traktor Pro 2 software.

Pioneer CDJ-2000 NEXUS/NXS: the new updates - A DJ Revolution.

According to a new leak, I have possessed some of the info on the new features of the Pioneer CDJ-2000 NEXUS.

Most of you have probably seen this video.

What you see is a new CDJ, the Pioneer CDJ2000 NXS or NEXUS.

This Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS/Pioneer CDJ-2000 MK2 has got some new features such as:
- BEATSYNC Feature (as seen on Pioneer XDJ-Aero)
- Loop Chopping/Slicing via 'LOOP MODE'
- Zoomable waveforms
- SLIP Mode
- An even better Rekordbox integration
- Renewed, better quantize function (in combination with the beatsync)
- Rekordbox mobile app integration (as seen on Pioneer XDJ-Aero)
- Multicolored waveform display
- Built-in effects not confirmed

New Pioneer NEXUS models release date and product specifications.

The new PIONEER CDJ-2000 NEXUS/NXS and others (CDJ-900 NXS, DJM-2000 NXS) will not be released this month as stated before. Models will be released autumn this year or later.

New specifications of the CDJ-2000 NEXUS / NXS and CDJ-900 NEXUS / NXS will probably be:
- Wireless PRO DJ LINK modus which allows linking up to 4 CDJ's
- BEATSYNC function via PRO DJ LINK (wireless)
- FLAC support
- New features for the Needle Search

New specifications of the DJM-2000 NEXUS / NXS will probably be:
- Traktor Scratch Certified 24bit/96kHz (eventually 192 kHz) built-in interface
- Quantized FX
- New Pioneer RMX-1000 Build-up and Break-down FX

PLEASE NOTE: The release date change is confirmed. The specifications are pure speculations.

The Pioneer CDJ-2000 NEXUS/NXS is not alone. Next month the CDJ-900 NEXUS will also be released.
